The Jr/Sr High Chorus will rehearse on Monday afternoons October through early June. Rehearsals are from dismissal until the late bus at 3:30pm.

Mrs. Williams is the director of this after-school ensemble and all students are welcome to join the chorus.

Our chorus generally performs in three concerts a year and sings at the Senior Awards Night as well.

It is possible for most students who are members of sports teams to also sing in the chorus. Most Mondays, these students attend chorus first and report to their sports practice at 2:45p.

Students who are active members of the chorus are also eligible to audition for the MMEA-WD Chorus.

In recent years, our chorus has received a rating of Good and two ratings of Excellent in the Thrills & Trills music adjudication at Six Flags New England. In 2008, our chorus performed in the Episcopal Cathedral in Springfield with members of the Community Music School of Springfield. Additional activities have included trips to Broadway to see Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera, and Mary Poppins. In 2009 they were invited to perform during one of the Excellence in Teaching Grinspoon Award Banquets.
